The Town of Weare is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors for the crushing of recycled glass at the Weare Transfer Station. The goal of this project is to reduce stockpiled glass into a usable aggregate material for municipal use or further recycling. Specifications o Glass must be crushed to a size suitable for use as aggregate substitute. o Contractor is responsible for mobilization/demobilization of all necessary equipment. o All crushed material shall remain the property of the Town of Weare. o Contractor shall ensure minimal contamination and dust generation during the process. o Work must be completed within 120 days of notice to proceed.
