Site work and paving for a road / highway in Darby, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The scope of work includes but is not limited to, 4 1/2 " milling and placement of 3" binder and 1 1/2 " wearing course along the curbline sections and 1 1/2 " milling and resurfacing of the remainder of N. 2nd St., including incidental base repair. Optional items include installation of curb cut ramps. The Bidder's attention is called to the fact that this project is assisted with federal funds, and various federal requirements apply as noted in the bid documents, including but not limited to equal opportunity provisions, Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Build America Buy America Act and Section 3 Final rule threshold requirements for contracts over $200,000 in HUD funds. The Borough Council reserves the right to reject any bid and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder(s) whose services are judged to best meet the interests of the Borough. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor irregularities during evaluation of the bids. A certified check or bid bond shall be included with the bid for 10% of the bid total. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price with a corporate surety authorized to issued bonds in Pennsylvania. Work must be completed by 9/15/25.
