The Project Includes Water Treatment Plant Improvements Consisting of Replacing Filter and Softener Media and Support Gravels, Recoating of Interior and Exterior of the Steel Vessels, Painting of Process Piping, and Control Valve Replacement. The Project Also Includes Cleaning and Recoating of the Brine Tank Interior. A. Work of this proposed Contract includes construction as outlined within Specifications and the Drawings. B. The Work of this proposed Contract is Tuppers Plains-Chester Water District - Filter No. 2, Softener No. 1, and Brine Tank No. 2 Improvements. Bidders Are Required to Provide Bid Security in the Form of a Bid Bond in the Amount of 100 Percent of the Bid Price or Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit Equal to Ten Percent of the Bid Amount to Guarantee the Bidder's Entrance Into a Contract, if Awarded the Project. Each Bid Must Contain the Full Name of the Party or Parties Submitting the Bid and All Persons Interested Therein. Each Bidder Must Submit Evidence of Its Experiences on Projects of Similar Size and Complexity, and a Complete Listing of All Subcontractors to Be Used. Submit Your Offer on the Bid Form Provided Within These Bid Documents. Bidders Must Comply With the Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Meigs County as Determined by the State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Determinations. The Engineer's Estimate is as Follows: $540,000.00 Your Offer Will Be Required to Be Submitted Under a Condition of Irrevocability for a Period of 60 Days After Submission. In the Event That the Owner is Unable to Obtain an Agreement With the Bidder Initially Selected, the Owner May Award the Contract to the Next Bid, Most Favorable to the Owner. The Right is Reserved by the Owner to Reject Any or All Bids, and to Waive Any Informality in Bids Received and to Accept Any Bid Which is Deemed to Be the Lowest and Best Bid.
