Bids Cold Springs Regionalization Liberty Church Road Waterline The Town of Mountain City will be soliciting bids for the Cold Springs Regionalization Liberty Church Road Waterline project in Mountain City, Tennessee. The project is a public works project, intended to better serve the customers of the Town of Mountain City and Cold Springs Utility District. The project involves the installation of approximately 1,370 linear feet (L.F.) of 6-inch waterline (Ductile Iran), to the parameters generally shown in the plans, and in accordance with the specifications. The project also involves reconnecting existing services and constructing a valve vault for a pressure reducing valve (PRV) and bypass line. This project is being supported with the American Rescue Plan Act, Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Fund grant funding. Therefore, certain restrictions and other federal requirements attach to this opportunity. We encourage all small and minority owned firms and women's business enterprises to participate. No bidder may withdraw his bid within (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of his bid and shall, before entering on the work of said contract, be licensed as a contractor of the Town of Mountain City.
