The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to accept proposals in the best interest of the City. A. Work Included: Provide labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work of this Section, including but not limited to the following: 1. Removal/abandonment of existing above ground and underground utilities and associated structures. 2. Installation and maintenance of soil erosion and sediment control measures. 3. Removal from site and disposal of all excess and unusable material in accordance with applicable regulations. 4. Transportation and disposal in an appropriately licensed landfill of all demolition debris not recycled or reused on-site. 5. Work includes all demolition required to complete the project regardless of whether the demolition is specifically indicated on the drawings. A. Work Included: Provide labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work of this Section, including but not limited to the following: 1. Protecting existing trees and vegetation to remain, including temporary fencing for trees in close proximity to construction operations. 2. Removing existing trees and vegetation indicated to be removed. 3. Clearing and grubbing. 4. Stripping topsoil. 5. Removing above and below grade site improvements. 6. Disconnecting, capping or sealing of utilities as required. A. Work Included: Provide labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work of this Section, including but not limited to the following: 1. Excavating and backfilling for pavements and utilities 2. Subbase and base course for asphalt paving. 3. Excavating and backfilling for utility trenches. 4. Remove and replace unsuitable existing fill material. A. Work Included: Provide labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work of this Section, including but not limited to the following: 1. Preparation and placement of granite curb 2. Preparation and placement of pedestrian concrete paving (sidewalk) A. Work Included: Provide labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work of this Section, including but not limited to the following: 1. Testing off-site borrow soil, existing topsoil and amendment materials are approved use in planting soil mixes. Verification testing of on-site sub soils. 2. Furnishing material from approved off-site source(s) as a base component for planting soil mixes and furnishing other soil amendment materials. 3. Amending, preparing, and mixing planting soils for plant areas. 4. Placing, spreading, and fine grading pre-mixed planting soil material of the type(s) indicated for plant areas. 5. Protecting all plant mix installations with snow fencing, filter fabric, or other approved means, over the surface area plant bed installations, until substantial completion. 6. Protection of finished paving, light poles utility or other finished work by means of wooden protection boards, or other approved means, over the area of construction concurrent with any and all construction operations. A. Work Included: Provide labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work of this Section, including but not limited to the following: 1. Landscape plantings in accordance with the Contract Documents and instructions of the Landscape Architect 2. Everything, as determined by the Landscape Architect, that is incidental to what is indicated in the Contract Documents A. Work Included: Provide labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work of this Section, including but not limited to the following: 1. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to install and test the cured-inplace pipe (CIPP) lining and appurtenances as shown on the Drawings, and as specified herein, including, but not limited to services necessary for traffic control, bypass pumping and/or diversion of stream/culvert flows, cleaning and television inspection of pipe to be lined, liner installation, quality control, providing samples for performance of required material tests, final television inspection, testing of lined pipe system and warranty work, all as specified herein. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and insurance to perform all work required for the project known as . "Sewer Realignment and Culvert Improvements at DeCicco Drive." in strict accordance with the Contract Documents and all related Drawings and Specifications. The said Documents, Specifications, Drawings, and any GENERAL SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS are incorporated herein by reference and are made a part of this Agreement. A. The Fall Brook Elementary sewer realignment and culvert improvements project shall include: 1. The demolition of existing site features to include, but not limited to, a portion of the asphalt within Deccico Drive, a portion of the concrete sidewalk and curb, vegetation within the proposed sewer trench limits and select tree removal. 2. The installation of a rerouted sewer main and manholes to divert the sewer connection from Fall Brook Elementary and Samoset Middle School so that it no longer goes through Fall Brook. 3. The installation of a cast in place pipe liner at the culvert below Deccico Drive. 4. Installation of rip rap to stabilize the outlet of the culvert. 5. Wetland restoration and replication for the disturbed wetland and buffer areas due to the activities noted above. 6. Restoration of disturbed vegetation, reinstallation of curbing, sidewalk, repaving/patching of Deccico Drive. 7. All other work indicated on the contract plans and/or specifications.
