The city of Walnut Ridge is seeking "per ton bids' for the delivery and installation of hot mix asphalt, to be installed inside the city to an average depth of 1.5 inches Bidder shall include prep-work on areas including street edges, tacking and asphalt to be installed to state specifications. City will provide riser rings for manhole and shutoff valves, to be installed by bidder. Work shall be completed in the calendar year2025. Area to receive asphalt will be no less than 73,540 S.F. Bids should include a price for milling and hauling for 17,500 S.F. of asphalt, to a depth of 1.5 inches. City will furnish a drop location for millings with a round trip range of no more than one mile. NOTE: Additional areas for asphalt may be added after bids are opened.
