Renovation of an educational facility in Juneau, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK. The contractor shall provide direct digital control (DDC) for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and lighting control upgrades as shown and specified. The work also includes, but is not limited to, addition of fire alarm fan shutdown, control valve replacements, balance valve replacements, and associated commissioning, testing, adjusting, and balancing. No abatement is planned for this project. Specification Section 028213 Asbestos Abatement is included as an advisory regarding asbestos containing materials (ACM) that may be encountered while completing the work for this project. No ACM is to be disturbed during work. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE RANGE: Between $700,000 and $800,000. COMPLETION OF WORK. The WORK must be completed by Work Description Completion Date Substantial Completion 122 Days after Notice to Proceed.
