Site work for a water / sewer project in Canton, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construct approximately 6,784 lineal feet of water main replacement, and all related appurtenances, from south of the intersection of West Walnut Street and South Avenue D to a point on West Hickory Road that is approximately 1.1 miles west of the intersection of West Hickory Road and South Avenue D. Portions of the work will be performed within the corporate limits of the City of Canton in Fulton County, and in unincorporated Fulton County. Bids are invited upon the several items water main work for the S. Ave. D, W. Maple and W. Walnut Street Water Main Replacement project including: Construct approximately 6,784 lineal feet of water main replacement, and all related appurtenances, from south of the intersection of West Walnut Street and South Avenue D to a point on West Hickory Road that is approximately 1.1 miles west of the intersection of West Hickory Road and South Avenue D. Portions of the work will be performed within the corporate limits of the City of Canton in Fulton County, and in unincorporated Fulton County Contract Documents may be obtained electronically by emailing Jason Myetich (jamyetich@mstutz.com) at no cost. Question Deadline 07/28/2025 Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Local Public Agency (City of Canton - OWNER). A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of City of Canton, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. This project is funded in whole or in part with grant funds from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The City of Canton (Grantee) reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Canton for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
