Lee Reservoir to Port Water Line The General Nature of Work, Described in Detail in This Contract and in the Basis of Payment, Includes Furnishing All Labor, Equipment, and Materials Necessary for the Construction of the Project. Primary Items of Work Include: Constructing 980 Feet of 12-inch Pvc, Associated Connections, and Other Miscellaneous Items. All Written Questions Must Be Received by the City Engineer by 5 Pm Pst on April 7, 2026, 9 Calendar Days Prior to the Bid Due Date. The Project Engineer Will Determine Appropriate Responses, if Any, and if Necessary an Addendum Will Be Issued to All Plan Holders of Record at Least 5 Calendar Days Prior to the Bid Due Date. City May Cancel This Procurement or Reject Any Bid That Does Not Comply With All Prescribed Public Bidding Procedures and Requirements, Including the Requirement to Demonstrate the Bidder's Responsibility Under Ors 279c.375 (3)(B) and That City May Reject for Good Cause All Bids After Finding That Doing So is in the Public Interest. . Each Bid Proposal Must Be Submitted on the Forms Prescribed by the City and Accompanied by a Proposal Guaranty (Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond) in an Amount Equal to Ten (10) Percent of the Total Amount Bid. The Ten Percent Proposal Guaranty Shall Be Forfeited to the City if the Bidder Fails to Enter Into a Contract With the City of Lincoln City Within Fifteen (15) Days After the Date of the Notice of Award. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a Bond Equal to One Hundred Percent of the Amount Bid for Faithful Performance of the Contract. The purpose of the Contract is to set forth the rights and obligations of the parties and the terms and conditions governing completion of the Work. The Contractor's obligation shall include without limitation the following: o The Contractor shall furnish all Materials, Equipment, labor, transportation, and Incidentals required to complete the Work according to Plans, Specification, and terms of the Contract. o The Contractor shall perform the Work according to the lines, grades, Cross Section Data, typical sections, dimensions, and other details shown on the Plans, as modified by written order, or as directed by the City. o The Contractor shall perform all Work determined by the City to be necessary to complete the Project. o The Contractor shall contact the City or its representative for any necessary clarification or interpretation of the Contract.
