The project is expected to be awarded on October 2025.** Sealed Bids for Fire Department Renovation The Atkinson Fire Department is soliciting sealed bids from qualified architectural and design firms for the development of three separate facility design proposals. Each proposal builds on the previous, and firms are expected to provide complete design services including layout drawings, code compliance assessments, and system upgrade planning Proposal 1 - Renovation of Existing Facilities Design a renovation plan for the existing fire station spaces including: - Conversion of the current bay, dayroom, bathroom, and kitchen into: - Sleeping quarters - ADA compliant bathroom w/ shower - New dayroom - Administrative offices - Installation of a new firewall separation - Upgrade of the existing septic system to accommodate new layout and use Proposal 2 - Expanded Renovation and Addition Includes all elements from Proposal 1, plus: - Renovation and upgrade of additional existing apparatus bays - Design and integration of a new wash and decontamination room Proposal 3 - Full Renovation with New Bay Addition Includes all elements from Proposals 1 and 2, plus: - Design of a new apparatus bay addition, integrated into the existing structure
