The DuPage County ("County") Department of Public Works is responsible for operating three (3) regional wastewater collection systems and treatment plants serving various DuPage County communities. The Public Works department is seeking proposals from IL ELAP/NELAP certified and accredited laboratories in the state of Illinois to provide NPDES permit analytical testing services for the facilities shown below and the sludge permit. Sludge processing and sample collection are performed at the Woodridge Wastewater Treatment Facility. The Knollwood and Nordic Wastewater Treatment facilities thickened aerobic digested sludge is trucked to the Woodridge anaerobic digestion process. ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS/RESPONDENTS ARE HEREBY CAUTIONED NOT TO CONTACT ANY MEMBER OF THE DUPAGE COUNTY STAFF OR OFFICIALS OTHER THAN THE BID COORDINATOR OR SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON(S)SHOWN HEREIN. FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF PROPOSAL. We wish to encourage your continued participation in DuPage County's procurement process, as this will continue to ensure the County taxpayers that they are receiving the maximum value for their tax dollars. The County of DuPage reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and waive any and all technicalities.
