No definite date for the rebid.** The City of Wheaton, Illinois is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Windsor Channel Pedestrian Bridge Repair Project. This project involves the structural rehabilitation and repair of the pedestrian bridge located over the Windsor Channel, including but not limited to: concrete repairs, steel component restoration, surface preparation and coatings, replacement of worn elements, and improvements to ensure long-term structural integrity and pedestrian safety. All work must comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, and shall be completed in accordance with the specifications and drawings provided in the bid documents. Bid Bond: A Bid Bond/Bid Deposit of 10% of the full contract price is required with your bid submittal. Payment Bond: The successful Bidder shall provide an original Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the full amount of the award. Performance Bond: The successful Bidder shall provide an original Performance Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the full amount of the award. Maintenance Bond: The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Maintenance Bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the final contract price for the faithful performance of the Bidder's obligation to maintain and keep in good repair, the work herein contracted to be done and performed for one (1) year from the date of final acceptance by the City.
