Renovation of a municipal facility in Wheaton, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
certified Contractors to provide Fire Hydrant Sandblasting & Painting to an approximate total of 750 fire hydrants (at 250 hydrants per year) over the next three (3) years. The object of these specifications is to provide the material and workmanship necessary to produce a quality coating system. All painting work shall be implemented in strict accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and shall be performed in a manner satisfactory to the City of Wheaton. This project is to be completed in three (3) service periods: Service Period 1 (2025) 250 Fire Hydrants Service Period 2 (2026) 250 Fire Hydrants Service Period 3 (2027) 250 Fire Hydrants The quantities identified herein are estimated quantities. The City of Wheaton reserves the right to increase and/or decrease quantities. The agreement shall cover the City's requirements whether more or less than the estimated amount. Contractor must be able to complete the entire sum of hydrants within the contract year. Failure may result in non-extension or termination of future agreement years.
