Descrip tion of Project: The project will consist of: Inspec tion of approx i mately 2400 City-Owned util itywood util ity poles includ ing sound and boring as wellas iden ti fy ing commu ni ca tion attach ments on the pole. There will be no pre-Bid meet ing. The Contrac tor and Sub-Contrac tors shall pay not lessthan the prevail ing rate of wages as found by theDepart ment of Labor or as deter mined by the Court ofAppeal, to all labor ers, work men and mechan icsperform ing work under the Contract. A signed certi fica tion stat ing the above as well as the fact that theBidder is not barred from Bidding as a result of aviola tion of either Section 33E-3 or 33E-4 of Chap ter 38,Illi nois Revised Stat ues, 1987 (as amended) must besubmit ted with the sealed Bid. Each Bid must be accom pa nied by a Bid bond signedby a Surety company autho rized to do busi ness in Illinois, or by a cashier's check or certi fied check in theamount of ten (10) percent of the base Bid. Any Bidnot accom pa nied by a required Bid deposit will berejected. The City of Geneva, IL reserves the right to reject anyor all Bids and waive tech ni cal i ties.
