For the Orchard Drive pavement and drainage improvements project, at which time they will be opened and publicly read for the following work: The work shall consist of roadway resurfacing including 60 tons of Hot-Mix Asphalt Binder Course, IL9.5, N50, 90 tons of Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Course, Mix D, IL-9.5, N50, 460 feet of Concrete Gutter, Type B, and other related work. Bid bond 5%. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the amount of not less than five percent of bid Prequalification of Bidders in accordance with the applicable parts of IDOT Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Recurring Special Provision "Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals" (Check Sheet LRS 6) will be required of all bidders on this proposal. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as found by the Village or the Department of Labor, or as determined by the Court on Review, shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work as indicated in the special provisions to the specifications. MBE/WBE/PBE and Section 3 firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
