the removal of sewer manhole frames and covers from approximately ___39____ existing manholes of both precast concrete and brick construction and located withing State and Municipal Road R/W; installation of new manhole frames and convers; installation of heat shrink wrap waterproofing; pavement restoration; traffic control; and other incidental work. Each bidder must review the site in reference to the scope of work prior to submitting the bid(s). Bids received by interested Bidders not in attendance at the conference will not be opened. Bidder must deposit with his/her Bid, security in the amount of 10% of the Bid in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $200 per calendar day. Bids must be on the forms furnished by the owner. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder prior to contract award as well as a Certificate of Insurance, which names the municipality as additional insured.
