Renovation of a municipal facility in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The World War II (WWII) Hut is a single story, 1000 sq. ft. gable roof wood-framed building that was originally built in 1939 and is located at Fort Rodd Hill National Historic Site. Due to age, leaks, and a lack of accessibility, Parks Canada is seeking a contractor to rehabilitate the WWII Hut washrooms. The awarded contractor will fully renovate the interior of the building into modern inclusive washrooms including new plumbing, HVAC, electrical, interior walls, floors and floor framing, fixtures, and finishes. This posting is the Stage Two of a two-stage solicitation process: the first stage was to evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers. The second stage (Stage Two) is to invite the qualified suppliers to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid.
