Renovation of a medical facility in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The Vancouver Island Health Authority (“Island Health”) is issuing this Request for Tender to solicit submissions from qualified Respondents for the sprinkler system replacement in the Administration Building at Gorge Road Hospital (GRH), located at 63 Gorge Road East, Victoria, BC. This project involves replacing the existing copper sprinkler piping system with a new CPVC system. The work will take place in an active, operational facility, requiring the new sprinkler piping and heads to be installed in parallel with the existing system. The current system must remain fully functional until the switchover to the new system is complete. The work will be completed using pop-up style tents and HEPA certified vacuums to minimize dust in the zones of work. Supply of the pop-up style tents, and HEPA certified (tested) vacuums are the responsibility of Island Health.
