Craighead County Solid Waste Disposal Authority Legacy Land-fill (Owner) is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of an 14.8-acre waste disposal cell as described below: The project will consist of excavation and installation of the composite liner system for the disposal cell, leachate collection system and transmission system leachate storage tank system and general site improvements The project includes the follow-ing tasks: Preparation of work area; Excavation and grading of waste disposal cell; Installation of double-sided geo-composite beneath the new dis-posal cell area; Installation of composite liner (2-ft compacted clay and 60-mil HDPE geomembrane) system in new disposal cell; Installation of leachate collection and transmission system for waste cell; Installation of leachate storage tank system; Stormwater improvements; General grading and stabilization of all disturbed areas; and All related work pursuant to the Bid and Contract Documents in-cluding, but not limited to, the Technical Specifications and Contract Drawings. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid in accord-ance with the Instructions to Bid-ders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any formalities.
