the City of Jonesboro is seeking letters of interest from qualified engineering firms for a comprehensive evaluation of 18 public railroad crossings along the BNSF Thayer South Subdivision to address the critical transportation challenges. The plan will develop a program of projects designed to minimize train-road interactions, reduce incidents, enhance emergency response reliability, alleviate traffic congestion, and improve freight efficiency and multimodal connectivity. Ultimately, the improvements will enhance safety, mobility, and the overall quality of life in Jonesboro, benefiting both the local community and the regional economy. After a review of all letters of interest received, selected firms will be furnished a scope of work and requested to submit proposals for accomplishing the work. City of Jonesboro complies with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, FHWA Guidance and any other Federal, State, and/or local laws, rules and/or regulations.
