Furnishing all labor, material, and equipment and performing all work required to constructan Equipment Storage Building atthe Legacy Landfill, 238 CR 476,Jonesboro, Arkansas as described in the plans and specifications. The location of the projectis approximately 2.3 miles southof Lawson Road on ArkansasHighway 1, then 0.25 miles eastof Highway 1 on County Road476. The project consists of thefollowing: Furnishing the material, labor,and equipment necessary to construct a new 4,800 sq. ft. pre-engineered steel building and concrete foundation utilizing a existing partial concrete slab. Therewill be a small office along withtwo bathrooms constructed under the northwest corner of thebuilding. This is a non-insulatedopen steel building with a sheetmetal wall along the west sideand a small section of the northside. The notice of award of Contract shall be given by the Ownerwithin sixty (60) days followingthe opening of bids. The successful Bidder must furnish a performance and paymentbond upon the form provided inthe amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract pricefrom an approved surety company holding a permit from theState of Arkansas to act assurety, or other surety or suretiesacceptable to the Owner. The attention of bidders is calledto the fact that Act 150 of 1965(as amended), Arkansas Statutes, states that under certainconditions a Contractor must belicensed by the State LicensingBoard for Contractors before hemay undertake work in Arkansas.The Bidder shall comply with requirements of this Arkansas Law. Proposals will be considered onthe basis of cost, the bidder's financial responsibility, his equipment, and his past performance in completing similar work. TheCraighead County Solid WasteDisposal Authority reserves theright to reject any or all bids, towaive any informalities, and to accept the proposal deemed to bein the best interest of the CCSWDA. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
