Site work for a water / sewer project in Trinidad, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The scope of the projectincludes: Schedule 1: Moores Canyon Water LoopProject #18-2023 that generally includes project mobilization and demobilization; traffic control; CDOTpermitting; installation of 1,632 lineal feet (LF) of8-inch C900 DR14 PVC water distribution system piping; 87 LF of 6-inch DI fire hydrant lateral piping; gatevalves with riser boxes on new water mains including:4 each (EA) of 8-inch diameter and 5 EA of 6-inch diameter (including 6-inch valves on new fire hydrantassemblies); 5 EA of new 6-inch fire hydrant assembly installations; installation of cast-in-place pressurecontrol vault with 8" combination pressure reducingand pressure sustaining valve; 2 connections betweennew and existing 8-inch piping; 1,719 LF of Class "B"bedding; installation of 20 LF of flowable fill aroundnew water main 10-feet either side of existing sanitarysewer main; 787 square Yards (SY) of asphalt streetsurfacing removal and replacement with 4-inches ofbase course and 6-inch thick hot mix asphalt; installation of pavement striping and markings to matchexisting; and all incidental materials of construction,complete in place. Schedule 2: Segundo Water LineRenewal Project #15-2023 that generally includesproject mobilization and demobilization; traffic control; CDOT permitting, installation of 825 LF of 6-inchC900 DR14 PVC water distribution system piping; installation of 16 LF of 6-inch DI fire hydrant lateralpiping; installation of 34 LF 2-inch Schedule 80 PVCwater distribution system piping; installation of 31 LFof 12-inch steel casing pipe (0.375-inch minimum wallthickness) through bore and jacking techniques ordirectionally drilled with 6-inch diameter C900 DR14PVC carrier pipe; installation of gate valves with riserboxes on new water mains including: 1 EA of 6-inchdiameter (including 6-inch valve on new fire hydrantassembly) and 2 EA of 2-inch diameter; 1 EA of new6-inch fire hydrant assembly installations; 12 EA newinch service taps on new 6-inch water main; 5 EAnew inch service taps on existing 18-inch DI watermain including wet tap provided by Owner; 294 LF ofnew inch Type K copper water service lines withtracer wire inside 2-inch HDPE casing pipe installedusing trenchless technology; 171 LF of new inchType K copper water service lines with tracer wire; 16EA of new inch curb stops with riser box on newservice line; 1 EA of new inch curb stop with riserbox on existing service line; 841 LF of Class Bbedding; 57 square feet (SF) of removal of concrete streetsurfacing in front of Ringo's Market; 98 square yardof asphalt street surfacing removal and replacementwith 6-inches of base course and 8-inch thick hot mixasphalt; 43 square yard of asphalt street surfacing removal and replacement with 4-inches of base courseand 6-inch thick hot mix asphalt; installation of pavement striping and markings to match existing onHighway 12; and all incidental materials of construction, complete in place. Schedule 3: University RailRoad Crossing Water Line Replacement Project#16-2023 that generally includes project mobilizationand demobilization; traffic control; CDOT permitting,BNSF Railroad permitting and traffic control plans; 78LF of 12-inch C900 DR14 PVC water distribution system piping; 280 LF of 24-inch steel casing pipe (0.375- inch minimum wall thickness) through bore and jacking techniques with 12-inch diameter C900 DR14 PVCcarrier pipe; 2 EA or 12-inch gate valves with riser boxes on new water mains; 3 EA of new inch servicetaps on new 12-inch water main; 68 LF of new inchType K copper water service lines with tracer wire; 2EA in-line connections between new and existing 12- inch piping; 2 EA poured-in-place reinforced concretereverse anchors on new 12-inch PVC water main; 184SY of asphalt street surfacing removal and replacement with 4-inches of base course and 6-inch thickhot mix asphalt; installation of pavement striping andmarkings to match existing; and all incidental materials of construction, complete in place. Schedule No.4: Weston Water Service Line Relocation Project#17-2023 that generally includes project mobilizationand demobilization; traffic control; CDOT permitting;installation of 632 LF of 2-inch HDPE water serviceline piping utilizing trenchless methods; and all incidental materials of construction, complete in place. The bid must be placed in one envelope, securelysealed and clearly labeled "WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS: Project #15-2023, Project #16-2023, Project #17-2023 and Project #18- 2023". The City of Trinidad will not be responsible forpremature opening of bids not properly labeled. Onlybids received by GMS, Inc., Consulting Engineers onor before the aforesaid date and hour set for closing ofthis Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be eligible for consideration. Any bid received after the closing time,regardless of the method of delivery, will be returnedunopened to the bidder. Bids may not be withdrawn after the closing time. All bids will be evaluated and a selection made as soonas possible after the bid opening. Award of bid is subject to approval by the Trinidad City Council. Bidsshall be valid for a minimum of sixty (60) days following the bid opening. The City of Trinidad reserves theright to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities,and to award orders for the items described either inwhole or in part, if it seems to be in the best interest ofthe City to do so. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order ofthe City of Trinidad (Owner), negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bondexecuted by the bidder and an acceptable surety in anamount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shallbe submitted with the Bid. Question Deadline 07/31/2025 Submit all questions about the Drawings or Specifications to the Engineer in writing no later than five (5) days prior to the time set for receipt of BIDS.
