The Sheridan School District is soliciting proposals from a qualified vendor to remove the existing Bogen Multicom-2000 intercom system at Sheridan High School. The project involves replacing the existing system with a modern IP-based intercom system, while using existing amplifiers, wiring, microphones and speakers. Additionally, the project includes the installation of new speakers in the Field House. The selected contractor will be responsible for the following: o Conducting a diagnostic test of the existing intercom system to identify and report malfunctioning microphones and speakers. o Removing the current Bogen Multicom-2000 intercom head-end equipment. o Installing a new IP-based intercom system, including: o Talkback gateways o An interactive console o Integration with existing speaker and call box wiring o Installing the following components in the Field House: o (3) one-way IP speakers in the locker room o (1) talkback IP speaker in the Field House office o (1) one-way loudspeaker in the weight room Note: All necessary wiring from these units to the nearest IP network switch or access point must be provided by the contractor. o Providing labor hours for technical assistance during configuration of the new system. o Testing the newly installed intercom system to ensure full functionality o Conducting initial training for designated Sheridan School District staff.
