Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Sheridan, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Furnish all tools, labor, materials, and equipment required to construct approximately 1,783 linear feet of 6-foot wide walkway improvements. The contractor shall provide all MUTCD, erosion control, curb & gutter, concrete drive repairs, drainage piping, inlet boxes, earthwork, handicap ramps, crosswalk striping, ditch re-shaping, handrails, fence relocation, and other miscellaneous materials for a complete project according to project documents. The bid proposal and work shall conform to all applicable federal, state, county, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations, including labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws, and other federal requirements. Arkansas State Contractor Licensing Law applies, and both contractors and subcontractors must be licensed before signing the contract. "Buy America" provisions and relevant sections of the Arkansas Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway Construction apply. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than 5 percent of the bid as a guarantee. Bidding documents must be obtained at Sheridan City Hall and are non-refundable; partial sets are not available. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject nonconforming bids, select the most qualified bidder, and postpone the contract award for up to 90 days.
