As of 7/17/2025, project has been awarded but the award amount was not confirmed. Bidders are invited to submit a bid for the following: Construction of an 80'x185' pad for a bolt up engineered building Laying base material and compacting at 95%. A separate bid has been prepared for base material. Bidders shall submit a bid bond by an acceptable surety in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid issued with each bid for contracts greater than $100,000.00. A certified check or bank draft payable to Val Verde County or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner, if applicable. All questions are due by 4:30 P.M. on June 26, 2025 and all responses will be posted by 4:30 P.M. on July 1, 2025. All addenda issued for this project will be posted at electronically. Val Verde County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and/or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Val Verde County for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidders' qualifications prior to the contract award.
