For: Central Operations Building Chilled Water Plant Upgrades Mechanical and Electrical Primes EBE goal is greater than 0% The Work consists of the following generalized scope items: a. Remove (2) existing cooling towers, (1) exhaust fan, (1) supply fan, (1) water-cooled chiller, (2) base mounted pumps, (2) in-line pumps, and select piping as indicated. b. Furnish and install (3) water-cooled chillers, (1) exhaust fan, (1) supply fan, (2) base mounted pumps, (6) in-line pumps. c. Install (2) owner furnished cooling towers. d. Furnish and install all piping, valves, specialties, insulation, controls, and appurtenances required to place each piece of equipment into operation. e. Furnish and install new direct digital system controls to serve and monitor the new mechanical equipment Extend electrical power where required from existing services within the building to serve each new piece of electrically powered mechanical equipment and make final connections. g. Carefully coordinate and train all piping, conduit, and appurtenance installations with the specific purpose of enabling unobstructed service to each serviceable mechanical equipment component to the satisfaction of the engineer and owneris representative. h. Train the owneris personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of the equipment.
