The purpose of this request for proposals is to enter into a contract with a qualified firm to provide labor, material and equipment required to replace the existing 4,000 cfm make-up air, (1) 4,500 cfm exhaust fan and (1) 1,000 cfm exhaust fan in the Marathon County Hatley Highway Shop. The new make-up air unit is to be rated at 10,000 cfm and the (2) new exhaust fans shall be rated at 5,000 cfm's each. The intent of raising the cfm's is to get the moisture out of the building during the winter months when they are washing trucks and parking cold wet trucks inside. The current system will perform about (1) air exchange per hour, and we are trying to get (3) exchanges per hour with the new system.. The project site is the Marathon County Hatley Highway Shop located at 8155 Duncan Road, Hatley, WI 54440. It is the County's intent to have the project completed by October 31, 2025. The current system performs (1) air exchange per hour, and the new system should be close to (3) exchanges per hour. Detailed Scope of Work: - Remove (2) exhaust fans and make-up air unit. - Provide and install (2) Greenheck model SQ-16-VG (or approved equal), indoor inline direct drive exhaust fans rated for 5,000 cfm each for a total of 10,000 cfm's of exhaust air. 5,000 cfm's from the floor and 5,000 cfm's from higher on the wall. - Provide and install (1) Greenheck Model DGX-P124-H32-MF (or approved equal) direct fired gas makeup air unit rated at 10,000 cfm with remote control panel with discharge air temperature selection, hand-off-auto selector switch. There shall also be indication lights for fan on and burner on. - Provide and install new exterior weather hoods and low leak dampers with actuators. - Provide and install sheet metal ducts with external insulation between fans and the exterior wall. - Include all required line and low voltage wiring required for a complete installation. - The existing gas monitor system is to be hooked to the new equipment. - Provide and install a stand alone humidity controller. The contractor is to develop a control sequence of operation to operate the system for the purpose of both gas fume exhaust as existing and removing excessive humidity sourced from snow and water from vehicles along with washing of vehicles. - Provide start-up and operational checks.
