Remodeling and renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Maple Grove, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the remodel of a clubhouse / community center; and for the renovation of a 70,000-square-foot clubhouse / community center.

Total project cost for the community center renovation project of $103,002,000. Of that amount $40,527,000 is for Phase 1. $62,475,000 is for Phase 2 and $1,500,000 for the reconstruction of the Pavilion and the playground. The Pavilion and the playground are utilizing the funding sources of $895,000 park dedication funds, $300,000 in Park Equipment Replacement funds, $165,000 Community Center Building Reserves and $140,000 of a previous Lions donation coming to the total of $1.5M. Phase two construction will follow this tentative schedule: Aquatic Center shutdown Sep 2026 – Jun 2028 Gym/Teen Center shutdown Mar 2027 – Dec 2028 Maple Maze shutdown Jul 2027 – Dec 2028 Community Center/Senior Center/Park and Recreation offices shutdown Jul 2027 – May 2028 Banquet facility construction Mar 2027 – May 2028 Reopen Community Center/Senior Center/Park and Recreation offices May 2028 Reopen Aquatics Center Jun 2028 Open new Activity Center Dec 2028 The project is included in the City's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of January 7, 2026, phase 1 complete. Phase 2 to start Spring 2026 and completion by end of 2028.
