Typical services under Area 2 Class 2.09b may include, but are not limited to: o Design of airfield lighting systems, including taxiway and runway edge lighting, approach lighting systems, guidance signs, and precision approach path indicators (PAPI) o LED transition planning o Electrical system upgrades and rehabilitation projects o Design of airfield electrical vault systems and backup power sources o Development of photometric and illumination analysis for FAA compliance o Preparation of construction plans, specifications, and estimates for lighting/electrical projects o Construction administration, including shop drawing reviews, contractor coordination, and FAA grant documentation assistance o Quality control and assurance during construction o Coordination with GDOT, FAA, GAA, and other stakeholders as necessary The City of Douglas reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submittals, to waive any technicalities, and to award in the best interest of the City.
