A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: replacement of select portion of the roof and fascia with new metal roofing; replacement of double door, windows, and suspended acoustic ceiling panels; removal, salvage and reinstallation of electrical/communication infrastructure, select equipment, light fixtures, mechanical registers, other ceiling mounted equipment gutter, downspouts, and components; reconnection of downspouts; painting of walls and floors, hazardous material abatement and associated work to address roof leaks and resulting damage to the facility. The estimated cost of construction is between $450,000 and $550,000. To be eligible for award, bidders shall possess a valid State of Hawaii General Engineering "A" or General Building "B" license at the time of bidding. All Request for Information (RFI) questions and Substitution Requests shall be submitted in online no later than July 18, 2:00 p.m.. HST. RFI questions received after the stated deadline shall not be addressed. Substitution Requests received after the stated deadline shall not be considered. The State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any defects in said proposals in the best interest of the public. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
