Bids for pavement marking work withing the City of Corning. SCOPE OF WORK Under this work the contractor shall furnish and apply pavement markings in 2025 within the City of Corning. This work shall include all traffic control related to his work. The City may choose to extend the service agreement with the successful contractor on an annual basis for 2026 and 2027. Interested parties should provide prices for a three (3) year period using the forms attached to this Request for Price Quotes. Reflectorized pavement markings shall comply with NYSDOT Standard Specification Section 640. The contractor is responsible to provide stencils to match existing markings for their work. Any layout required for the work is included in the bid price. NYS Department of Labor wage rates applies to this project. A list of all pavement markings is available for review at the Department of Public Works' office. The City of Corning reserves the right to add or delete pavement markings when it is deemed in the best interest of the City. The Contractor shall commence work within 15 days of notice to proceed, work shall be completed within 45 calendar days. All crosswalks and stop bars in school zones shall be completed prior to September 1 st of the calendar year
