Replacement of windows on the Oak Hill Cemetery Chapel building. Oak Hill Cemetery 1101 Cemetery Rd. Lake Geneva WI 53147 A 5% Bid Bond may be required. 1. Removal of 8 large windows and 2 small windows. Rough dimensions apx. (8) 95.5" x 47.5" and (2) 47.5" x 23.5". 2. Replace windows with new commercial grade energy-efficient models. 3. Appropriate trim/flashing/sealing/weatherproofing. Matching color. 4. All exterior and interior trim replaced if applicable. 5. The Chapel building is on the Wisconsin and National Historic Registry. All material and work shall be as close as possible to existing design. 6. Any disturbance of existing walls, ceilings, etc. shall be repaired in kind. 7. Contractor is responsible for obtaining all needed permits, which will be issued no fee by the City. 8. Area will be thoroughly cleaned and picked up daily to not present a hazard to the Public. Hazards shall be identified and abated at all times. 9. Proper disposal of all debris shall be the responsibility of the contractor including lead painted surfaces if encountered. 10. Project must be performed in a substantial workmanlike manner following all industry standard protocols. All work must comply with local building codes and manufacturer installation guidelines. 11. The City Public Works Director or his/her designee shall have authority to accept or reject all work or materials. 12. Contractor must have on file an approved pre-qualification packet with the City Clerk prior to award of project to successful proposer with insurance information. 13. This contract shall be all inclusive with no part being considered as 'done-by-others'. 14. Bidder must provide indemnity and acceptable insurance in amounts approved by the City. 15. All measurements in this proposal are approximate, contractor is responsible for verifying all measurements. On-site visits are highly encouraged. The City reserves the right to re-ject any or all proposals and to accept any proposal deemed most advantageous to the City of Lake Geneva.
