Big Sky ID Corp is soliciting qualified and certified UDBE/MBE/WBE subcontractor and material bids for the above referenced project. The project is located in Cusick, WA. The Project includes the following Work: Mobilization and administration Demolition of piping and appurtenances Interim fix to Filter Train 1 o Replace/Update three turbidity meter sample pumps, piping, and/or location of samplers on Filter Train 1 Rehabilitation of Filter Train 2 including: o Disassembly/Demolition of tank internals and external piping connections o Remove and dispose of existing filter media o Sand blast tank interior to white bare metal o Repair areas of structural damage and corrosion o Fully repaint tank interior o Touch up paint tank exterior o Install cast in place concrete floors for underdrain flume structure in tank o Install new weir plates and connecting hardware o Install new clarifier influent distributor assembly, joint material, and connecting hardware o Install new air scour assembly o Install new filter underdrains o Install new lower media retaining screens, gaskets, and connecting hardware o Install new clarifier filter media o Install new upper retaining screen assemblies o Install new manway cover gasket o Reconnect external piping, valves and appurtenances to the tank Install a redundant backwash pump and associated piping and appurtenances Install new inline static mixer on plant influent piping Replace treatment plant control valve pneumatic actuators with electric actuators Valve Vault Piping o Repair leak in valve vault piping downstream of distribution pumps o Install an 8-inch by 4-inch tee, with resilient seat gate valve, tapped blind flange and 2.5- inch male NTP by male NH/NST adapter fitting o Install a 4-inch manual bypass around distribution pumps for filling clearwell For additional information regarding this project, contact Kevin Taft, Civil Engineer at Varela Engineering & Management at (509) 328-6066 or ktaft@varela-engr.com
