Renovation of a library in Brookings, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Bids shall be identified as: BID for Chetco Community Public Library Interior Improvements. Work on this contract includes the installation of an aluminum-framed glass infill wall with wood door in the existing Library Makerspace room. Also included is electrical rough-in, door modifications, and Library entry storefront door replacement related to Owner-installed access control system in the Library and Library Annex buildings. Work on this project includes installation of aluminum-framed glass infill wall with wood door at existing Library Makerspace room and work related to access control, installed by separate vendor, at several doors in the Library and separate Library Annex, including opening up walls for electrical rough-in, gypsum wall board replacement, replacing Library entry storefront doors, and other door and frame modifications. Alternate bid work includes replacement of two (2) existing compressor-operated door motors with electric motors. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any technicalities or informalities in connection therewith. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the hour set for the opening thereof until the lapse of thirty (30) days from the bid opening.
