Contractor provide Russel Street Sanitary Sewer Lift Station and Force Main Improvements as shown on drawings and as specified herein. 1. Demolition of existing pump station wet and valve vault pumps, piping, fittings, valves, top slabs, electrical, etc. as shown on the drawings. 2. By-pass pumping during construction. 3. Installation of new piping, fittings, pumps, top slabs, hatches, and accessories in the existing pump station wet well and valve vault. 4. Installation of new force main along new route as indicated on the drawings and connections to existing force main and gravity sewer. 5. Installation of new electrical components and connection to new pumps. 6. Startup and testing new pumps and accessories. 7. Restoration of existing surface and non-surfaced areas disturbed by construction. 8. All other work shown on the drawings and shown in the specifications. 9. Coordinate all construction activities with Owner. Question Deadline 07/29/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening Bids may not be answered. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a cer-tified check or bid bond in the amount of at least five percent of the amount bid, drawn payable to the Village of Pocahontas as security for the proper ex-ecution of the contract. Bids from partnerships or joint ventures will not be acceptable. The OWNER reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bids should it consider same to be in the best interest of the OWNER. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after date of receiving and opening bids.
