City of Hillsboro requests competitive proposals from qualified organizations that utilize trenchless methods to rehabilitate and/or repair sanitary sewer manholes as described below for phased repair projects throughout the City of Hillsboro. Rehabilitation/repair work may include, but is not limited to, sanitary sewer manholes as needed to improve channel flow characteristics, prevent infiltration, and restore pipe connections and structural stability. Projects will range in scope from repairing 10 to 20 manholes or 50 and more. The quality and durability of the work completed may serve as a basis for evaluating and awarding larger rehabilitation projects within the City. These future projects may be completed under the same on-call contract(s) awarded through this RFP. The City may select multiple contractors for this work. Work will be assigned based upon a combination of the suitability of the rehabilitation method, contractor cost, and availability. All work performed under this contract shall be subject to Oregon prevailing wage (BOLI) requirements regardless of scope or cost.
