This project is a replacement of the existing Panasonic Video Insight system with a new Genetec VMS system. 2. Work shall include but not be limited to: a. Install fiber optic cabling, network switches and servers/storage to support the eventual new and replaced cameras plus the growth factor. See specs and drawings. b. Note that this RFP is for Phase 1 work. Phase 1 does not include the replacement of any existing or placement of new cameras other than those that would be replaced as part of the Unit Costs thru a Bulletin. c. There will be a Phase 2 RFP that will include replacement of the existing cameras and new cameras and cabling. d. Replace existing camera monitoring PC's and provide new PC's as noted on the drawings and specifications. 3. See Spreadsheet and floorplans for quantity of new and replaced cameras. Build and provide equipment and licensing for the eventual camera installation and quantity as shown in the spreadsheet. For all cameras, provide costs to include license software thru June 30, 2029. 4. For new monitoring PC's, provide costs to include license software thru June 30, 2029. 5. Fully load the latest Genetec software on the servers and PC's and upgrade all new and existing camera software to the latest firmware that is compatible with the Genetec software. a. Provide software and any custom configuration required to make the existing cameras work on the new Genetec system. See spreadsheet for existing camera types. Work with Genetec to provide all system configuration and firmware/software. b. The existing cameras shall be transitioned to the Genetec system as soon as possible. 6. Provide full documentation and as-builts of network connectivity and camera locations and camera numbers on redlined PDF documents. See specifications for full closeout documentation required.
