The City of Bellingham (City) is seeking Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to provide Architectural and Engineering services for permitting, environmental, cost estimating, and/or all related services for design and permitting for repair, removal, replacement, renovation, and other necessary work for repairing slumping floor and remodel of the basement of Bellingham City Hall. The City invites all interested parties to respond to this Request of Qualifications (RFQ) by submitting their qualifications relating to this category of work. All prospective consultants are advised any federally funded project work will be held to federal EEO requirements. Disadvantaged, minority and women-owned consultant firms are encouraged to respond. Question Deadline 07/23/2025 at 4:00 PM PT. The Consultant performing the work for the City is expected to prepare a complete list of recommendations for a long term solution to the slumping flooring, prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates to complete 60%, and 100% CD's based on the approved recommendation. Prepare permits, reports, or studies for obtaining federal, State, local, and environmental permits as needed. Services during bidding and construction, contract documentation through construction, as-built documentation, any other services required to complete the project. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
