Questions Due Date: Jul 31st 2025, 4:00 PM EDT This project involves one base bid and two alternate bids for the design and construction of ADA/PennDOT compliant curb ramps, with all necessary sidewalks, curbing, and sign relocation/installation at specified locations within Bristol Borough. The design and all material, labor, and equipment necessary shall be in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408 and Borough Standards. Prospective bidders should not submit their bids until 10 days prior to the bid opening date. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of the bids. The Borough of Bristol reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, and to accept the bid, which it deems, in its sole judgment, to be in the best interest of the Borough. This Work is the furnishing and installation of thermoplastic traffic lines and markings, of the indicated type and color with a surface application of glass beads. Thermoplastic pavement markings shall be used for all stop bars, crosswalks, legends, and arrows No Pre-Bid Conference will be held. QA - Jul 31, 2025: Road restoration should be done in accordance with Bristol Borough Specifications and Design Standards for Borough Roads. The pavement detail for Borough roads specifies 6 2A Stone Subbase, 5 25MM Base Course, and 1.5 9.5MM Wearing Course.
