Description: Procurement of a new packaged Booster Pump Station Substantial Completion: July 1, 2026 - Final Completion: August 31, 2026 Question Deadline 07/25/2025 All questions must be received in writing or by email on or before ten (10) days prior to the bid opening. Responses to technical questions will be issued by addendum within five (5) days prior to the bid opening. The Supplier shall furnish and install a factory designed and assembled automatic water booster station with all necessary pumps, internal valves, piping, electrical controls and accessories as shown on the plans and specified herein. The station shall be complete with all needed equipment factory installed on a fabricated steel base and enclosed in an insulated modular steel building. The station shall be as manufactured by USEMCO, Inc., Tomah, Wisconsin, Dakota Pump, Mitchell, South Dakota, or EFI-Solutions, Centralia, Illinois or approved equal. The requirements herein are based off USEMCO's standard specification. Building construction following EFI-Solutions standard specification is acceptable and is attached as Appendix A. Proposed equal equipment must be submitted to the engineer at least 7 days prior to the quote deadline. Submittals must include data on all equipment included in the station along with a drawing showing the proposed station. Proposed equal equipment not submitted 7 days prior to the bid date will not be considered. To ensure total quality control, the complete unit will be designed, fabricated, assembled and tested in house by the station manufacturer. The complete station will be UL listed under "QCZJ - Packaged Pumping Systems". The station building will have nominal dimensions of 15' width, 55' length and 9' 6" height. The building will house a pumping system that consists of vertical turbine pumps drawing from a wetwell directly below the Booster Pump Station to convey water to two separate transmission lines. Magnetic flow meter, check valves and butterfly valves, three (3) identical vertical turbine pumps with firm design capacities of 2,300 gpm at 251 feet Total Dynamic Head (TDH) and two (2) vertical turbine pumps with design capacities of 350 gpm at 39 feet TDH and powered by variable frequency drives (VFDs), discharge piping, and the manufacturer's packaged control panel. The system will include pressure transducers to monitor discharge pressure. The building shall provide room for the installation and connection of a SCADA panel (by others) through an interface panel. The building shall be equipped with a general electrical and lighting system as well as an HVAC system that includes heaters, air conditioning, and a dehumidifier. The building shall also include access hatches for the purpose of installing and removing the pumps. All materials coming into contact with water shall meet ANSI/NSF Standard 61. SCOPE A. The Supplier shall furnish and install a factory designed and assembled booster pump station with all necessary pumps, internal valves, piping, electrical controls and accessories as shown on the plans and specified herein. B. The station shall be complete with all needed equipment factory installed on a fabricated steel base and enclosed in an insulated modular steel building. C. To insure total quality control, the complete unit will be designed, fabricated, assembled and tested in-house by the station manufacturer. The complete pump station will be UL listed under 'QCZJ - Packaged Pumping Systems'.
