Renovation of an educational facility in Wahpeton, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 64,600-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
The project consists of the enclosure and removal of approximately 64,600 square feet of floor tile and mastic, 1,185 mudded pipe fittings, 1,400 linear feet of thermal systems, miscellaneous fire doors, and stair treads in the Babcock, McMahon, and Satterlee Halls at the North Dakota State College of Science campus. Each bidder is required to fully inform themselves of existing conditions and limitations, attend a mandatory pre-bid inspection, and submit a bid that covers all necessary costs to perform the work as set forth in the contract documents. Bids must comply with North Dakota regulations and must be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes - one for the "Bid Proposal" (including the contractor's name, address, and project details) and one for the "Bid Bond" - with appropriate labeling. Bidders must submit a completed bid form, a 5% bid bond, and a current valid North Dakota contractor's license. The successful bidder will be required to provide insurance certificates, a sales tax certificate, workers' compensation, and other related documents upon signing the contract. The contract must be executed within ten days of the award notice.
