Renovation of a power facility in Benson, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
Adams Substation (Ada) Hvac Units Replacement, Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region, Cochise County, Az 85602 Any questions to be answered during the site visit must be submitted via N/A no later than N/A. All questions shall be submitted via e-mail to villareal@wapa.gov no later than 10:00am PT, 22 July 2025. Written questions will also be taken at the site visit, but answers may not be provided at that time. All questions and answers, including those answered and not answered at the site visit will be provided via FedConnect. The project magnitude is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS code is 238220 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Desert Southwest Region (DSW), requires the services of a qualified Contractor to perform all aspects of HVAC work as set forth in this Scope of Work (SOW). These Specifications describes the services required by DSW for its Adams Tap Substation in Cochise County, AZ 85602. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials to replace two HVAC systems for all the specified substations a. The Contractor shall provide qualified, trained, skilled personnel for work performed, installation of required material, and usage of equipment under this SOW. All equipment shall comply with applicable OSHA guidelines and shall be in good operating condition. The Contractor shall operate the equipment in accordance with the original manufacturer's recommendation and applicable laws and regulations. b. All substations shall have a HEPA filter for all outside air intakes and a pleated filter for all inside return air systems. c. The contractor shall provide the kW rating for each substation heater based on compliance with design requirements and codes. The contractor shall also ensure that the electrical circuits (circuit breaker size, wire size, conduit size, disconnect size, fuse size) are rated for the new equipment and NEC. d. All ductwork shall be sized per current codes and installed per Construction Standard 11. e. Disposal of Waste Material.
