A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work to be performed for the Project shall include, but will not necessarily be limited to removal of existing plumbing fixtures; removal of existing concrete block parti-tions, partial slab removal for plumbing work, new wood stud partitions, patching of concrete slabs, installation of new doors and closing of old door openings, installation of new plumbing piping and fix-tures, and installation of new lighting fixtures. The Proposal for the Proj-ect shall be accompanied by a Proposal Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal. All Proposals shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the Bid opening except as provided in in the Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, and Supplementary Condi-tions of the Project Manual. The Project shall be substan-tially complete within one hundred twenty (120) calen-dar days and finally complete within one hundred forty (140) calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Total Contract Amount will be re-quired. Notice is given that the work included in the Contract for which construction bids are being solicited hereby is a project constituting public works and is subject to ap-plicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, Act of July 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended and supple-mented, and appropriate pre-vailing minimum rates as pro-mulgated under provisions of said act must be paid by con-tractors in connection with performance of the necessary work. Subject to applicable law, Up-per Tulpehocken Township re-serves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or portions thereof and to delete projects and/or portions of projects based upon budget constraints. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to ENGINEER. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received thé Bidding Documents.
