Reference Number 0000412340 City of Caro is looking for individuals and/or firms interested in the Reconstruction and Utility Replacement for Norman Street in the City of Caro. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond in the amount of 5% of the bid. Checks shall be drawn payable to City of Caro as security for the acceptance of the Contract and subject to the conditions stated in the Instructions to Bidders. The Caro City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or errors in the bidding process, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the city, including bids that are not for the lowest amount. The city will first give all due consideration to bids from Contractors that are familiar with the city's infrastructure system, experienced with the city's standards and overall city project process, and that are local to the Greater Caro Region.
