the following: This contract provides for required annual and semi-annual inspections, certifications and service for installed fire alarm and fire sprinkler/suppression systems. Information is also sought about labor costs to perform necessary and normal maintenance and required repairs and new installation of required replacements performed by the successful bidder for fire alarm and fire sprinkler/suppression systems listed in Attachments A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H in City of Vancouver owned or managed facilities and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Vancouver is committed to providing equal opportunities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Womens Business Enterprises in contracting activities.
