Renovation of a power facility in Bristol, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
The project generally includes the following: o Furnishing material and installing below grade substation facilities including foundations, grounding, conduit/cable, and oil containment system o Installation of Owner Furnished equipment including structural steel, electrical bus/jumpers, circuit switchers, and circuit breakers. BVUA INVITES BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF VALLEY SUBSTATION GENERALLY INCLUDING FURNISHING MATERIAL AND INSTALLING BELOW-GRADE SUBSTATION FACILITIES, AND INSTALLATION OF OWNER-FURNISHED EQUIPMENT. The Work shall be substantially completed by December 31, 2025, and completed and ready for final payment by January 30, 2026. If bidders submit hardcopy, bidders shall submit one original and one duplicate of Bid per the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany the Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders Question Deadline 07/29/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
