Questions Due Date: Aug 7th 2025, 4:00 PM EDT The Thompsontown Municipal Authority (OWNER) will receive sealed bids for the Water Filtration Building as defined in the Contract Documents and other associated parts of the work. The General Construction Project is generally described as: o Construction of a Concrete "Slab on Grade" Engineered Building o Building is 30'0" x 50'0" outside to outside o Building is designed to have wooden stud walls and trusses o Three overhead roll up doors o Metal Panel Roof System o Interior of the building is to have a normial 12'6" x 20'6" Office/Lab for water testing o and a single stall restroom with supporting systems Procedures for submitting bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders and other contract documents. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any bid irregularities, and to negotiate contract amounts. Bids can be held for up to 60 days by OWNER and that time can be extended by PA Law if it is to allow the closing of project funding. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Thompson town Municipal Authority or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder will serve as an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid. Bid security and a fully completed Non-Collusion affidavit shall be submitted with each bid.
