The Project consists of procuring two portable emergency generators and accessories to provide backup power to the Lake Intake and Water Treatment Plant (WTP) sites. A new generator receptacle shall be installed at the Lake Intake, and the existing manual transfer switch and generator receptacle at the WTP shall be replaced. No permanent ground disturbance shall be allowed. Engineers Construction Cost Estimate is $300,000 to $400,000, including one additive alternate. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of ten percent of Bidders maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base Bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements outlined in the Bidding Documents. Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of Contractors obligations under the Contract. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all Bids and to make that award which is in the best interest of the Owner.
