Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in North Canton, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Please see the attached Request for Qualifications for Engineering Design Services - 2025 Streetscape Design Services for the Canton Engineering Department. Each project will be awarded separately. Only one SOQ is to be submitted. o 19th St. NE Area Improvements GP 1495 o 13th St. SW Area Improvements GP 1496. 19th St. NE Area Improvements GP 1495 - The improvements in this area to consist of new sidewalks & curbs; raised intersection at 19th & Edwards with possible stamped & painted asphalt or concrete; new ornamental sign posts. The existing pavement may remain. Waterline, Storm and sanitary sewers are to be evaluated by the city and may need to be included. 13th St. SW Area Improvements GP 1496 - The improvements in this area to consist of new sidewalks & curbs; new ornamental sign posts. The existing pavement may remain. Waterline, Storm and sanitary sewers are to be evaluated by the city and may need to be included. The scope of services may include, but are not limited to: o Survey o Plan & profile development o Cross sections o Construction details o General & technical notes/specifications o Easement development o Coordination with utilities and other reviewing agencies as needed o Engineering estimates o Ohio EPA PTI submittals o Project Site Plan and/or Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan development o Ohio EPA Notice of Intent (NOI)/Stormwater General Construction Permit Submittals o Other service as necessary. The submission must not exceed 20 single-sided (8.5" x 11"), numbered pages that are double-spaced with a 12-point font, including attachments. The cover page will not count towards the total number of pages, but all others will. The submission must also be in PDF format or alternate formats that are easily readable using Microsoft Word. The qualification submission must provide adequate information needed to rank the capability of a firm on each of the preceding categories. The City may short list firms based on any combination of categories noted above. Responding firms will be evaluated and ranked pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.65- 153.73 based on the above criteria. The City will then commence fee and contract negotiations with the selected firm most qualified to perform the services for each separate project as described above. The final scope of engineering services will also be established during these negotiations. The City reserves the right to require an oral technical presentation to aid in the ranking process. The City of Canton reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to accept the proposal deemed most beneficial to the City of Canton. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
