Pittsburgh Water is requesting bids for start-up and balancing of existing HVAC equipment (make-up air blower units and exhaust fans) to provide Code required ventilation for indoor vehicle parking. A. Bidders should understand that contracts for necessary repair, maintenance, and minor extension to Owner's existing facilities cannot be accurately estimated or planned in advance, and may be of an emergency nature. The Owner shall determine the repair, maintenance, replacement, or minor extension Work to be carried out under the Contract, and shall direct same, and a Bidder agrees to accept such decisions as final and binding. 4.07 Location of Work: A. Where the Project is for maintenance and repair or other Work on non-site specific, existing facilities of Owner, Bidders should understand that the amount or the location of the Work cannot be accurately predicted or described. Bidders must assume that Work may be required anywhere in Owner's service area and should bid accordingly.
